Connection to Warren County: I've lived in Warren County for 17-ish years after growing up in Leesburg & later moving to DC. I'm a former WCHFH board member.

Fun Fact: I am a Phantom of the Opera fanatic (Phanatic!). I know all of the words to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Original Cast Recording disc set.

Bio:

My career has taken me through a variety of industries, from working on the administrative side of the legal field in Washington, DC, to accounting and home design, to  higher education, digital marketing, public relations, and now, I'm happily, with Warren County Public Schools.

My diverse background has made me well-rounded and knowledgeable on a wide range of topics, which has served me well in both professional and social settings. 

As a board member for Warren County Habitat for Humanity, I love to help market the organization and finding creative ways to engage community members as volunteers and (fingers crossed!) future committee members. 

One thing you’ll quickly discover about me is that I’m enthusiastic about most things in life, and it never occurs to me that I might fail at something until I’ve at least given it a try. I’m passionate about making a difference and always ready for the next challenge!

In my downtime, I can be found living and breathing Ohio State football (#GoBucks), traveling up and down Route 66 to watch live performances (musicals, operas, orchestras...), and collecting vinyl records.

Why I love Warren County:

When I first moved to Warren County from DC/Northern VA, I thought it would be temporary. I always had one foot out the door, imagining I’d eventually return to city life. But somewhere along the way, the Shenandoah Valley grew on me. 

The connections I’ve made here, the fresh air and wide open spaces, the charm of small-town living, and, of course, the mountains have given me a sense of pride and belonging I didn’t expect. There’s something special about a community where people know your name and where you can step outside and feel the beauty of nature all around you. Warren County has become home in every way that matters.
