Connection to Warren County:

I’ve developed a deep connection to this community since moving to Warren County in 2006 with my husband and 4-year-old twins. The charm of small-town life has become a key reason why we love it here. Warren County offers a sense of close-knit community, where neighbors know each other, and the pace of life allows for meaningful relationships. It’s where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, with its outdoor activities and serene surroundings, while feeling rooted in a supportive, family-friendly environment. This strong community spirit has made Warren County the perfect home for our family.

Fun Fact: I love rock collecting! Each rock tells its own story! From their unique colors, textures, and shapes to the geological history they carry, it’s like holding a tiny piece of Earth’s past. The thrill of finding a special rock feels like discovering a hidden treasure, and it’s a great way to connect with nature while exploring the world around me. Each rock in my collection adds a personal touch, marking different adventures or places you’ve visited!

Bio:

With two small businesses—Luray Postal Business Hub and Valley Administrative Services, LLC— based in Luray, Virginia, my professional background revolves around providing essential services to the community. Luray Postal Business Hub caters to local shipping and logistical needs, while Valley Administrative Services, LLC offers administrative and business support. These roles align with my work with Warren County Habitat for Humanity (WCHFH) by reinforcing my commitment to community development and providing operational expertise to support fundraising and outreach initiatives. My business acumen enhances my ability to serve effectively on the Executive Board and contribute to the overall mission of WCHFH.

Why I love Warren County:

One of my favorite things about Warren County is the genuine sense of community that runs through the town. People truly care about each other, and that small-town closeness creates a feeling of belonging. The natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley adds to the charm, offering peaceful landscapes, outdoor activities, and a connection to nature that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s the perfect blend of a supportive, welcoming environment with a beautiful backdrop.
